Too much fun! See my Baja site for a description of the 'Green Tortoise way' of travel. Here, I'll speak of Costa Rica. We were impressed by the country, the people, the bargains, the beauty, the wildlife and our fellow travelers. 10 of 14 nights we spent camped at beach-side paradises, leaving a few nights to split between an active volcano and a wilderness river. It rained very little. Highlights included hiking, hotsprings, exploring, snorkeling, body surfing, sunbathing, fine food prepared by the passengers and drivers, camping, volcano watching, nature lovin', rafting, dancing and partying, conversing, photography, writing, canoeing, gazing at stars never seen, snoozing, shell collecting, waterfalls, water slides and swimming.
Would we go again? You bet!!
